Lewisburg Applebee's hosted another successful Camp Cadet Fundraiser

Applebee’s Celebrity Service Night held Wednesday, Feb 24th, raised over $8000 for Camp Cadet.

 “It has been a great fundraiser for us in years past, and we hope it continues to be,” said Trooper Matthew Burrows, camp coordinator.

         Trooper Randy Kurtz, a volunteer with Susquehanna Valley Law Enforcement Camp Cadet, gives kids a lesson in motorcycle safety. Kids ages 12-15 learn about everything from horseback riding to self-defense at the weeklong camp, which is run solely by volunteers who are law enforcement officers. Photo provided.
