The Rose Group Celebrates 25 Years of Success...

  ... and Promotes P. Jeffrey Warden to CEO

- Local Restaurant Franchisee Looks Ahead to Continued Growth with Several Promotions-
 
Newtown, PA, July 29, 2010 The Rose Group, one of the nation’s top franchise organizations which operates Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar restaurants throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, Corner Bakery Cafe’s and The Shannon Rose Irish Pub, kicked off its 25th anniversary by announcing the promotion of P. Jeffrey Warden to chief executive officer.
 
The company’s steady growth and success has made The Rose Group the 34th largest restaurant franchise company in the country. Prior to its successes with the Applebee’s brand, the company owned and operated many other nationally recognized restaurant chains throughout its history, including Boston Market, Roy Rogers, Johnny Carino’s and Einstein Bros Bagels.
 
According to Harry T. Rose, who founded The Rose Group in 1985 and will remain as chairman, much of the company’s success can be attributed to a commitment to being the industry’s best. 
 
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the industry’s most talented, hard-working and passionate people since beginning The Rose Group 25 years ago,” said Rose. “The company has experienced an incredible amount of success, from the opening of our first Roy Rogers restaurant, to today being one of the largest restaurant franchise company’s in the business. Driving our success is a dedication to our restaurants and customers, a quality of The Rose Group that I’m confident will always continue.
 
As The Rose Group looks towards the next 25 years of success, the company has announced P. Jeffrey Warden’s promotion to CEO.
 
“I am honored to announce Jeff’s promotion to CEO of The Rose Group. For nearly twenty-five years I’ve seen him successfully strive to make The Rose Group an industry leading franchisee. He has dedicated his career to being the best. As The Rose Group’s president and CEO, I know he will continue this tradition and his passion for success,” said Rose.
 
The Rose Group also announces the promotion of Bonnie Lippincott and Jason Rose, as the company aligns the leadership that will move the company forward. Bonnie Lippincott has been promoted to chief operating officer, retaining her position as vice president. She has been with The Rose Group for nearly 25 years, joining the company as a manager before receiving several promotions, including director of operations for Roy Rogers and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar in 1996, and vice president of operations in 2004. 
 
Jason Rose has been promoted to vice president of Real Estate. Rose has been with the company since 1996, joining as an assistant manager for Einstein Bros Bagels. He has received several promotions including special project coordinator and development manager. He most recently held the position of director of Real Estate.
